DeltaHawk Engines is developing a new Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for installation of their engine in Piper’s legendary PA-44 Seminole twin in both new and retrofit aircraft. By upgrading to a Jet-A-powered DeltaHawk engine, pilots can take advantage of globally available fuel while significantly lowering operating costs for their Piper Seminole aircraft. With a 40% reduction in total cost of ownership—including improved fuel efficiency and simplified maintenance—this upgrade future-proofs airframes and redefines expectations for general aviation.
